| The Gran Hotel Colon is situated in the center of the commercial and residential area, close to the Parque del Retiro. From the hotel, it is only 5 minutes to the Atocha station, Goya commercial center and the art district and only 10 minutes by car to the airport.The nearest metro station is Sainz De Baranda about 10 minutes away. All 380 guest rooms are decorated in a modern 70's style, which is now a little outdated. They are all equipped with modern facilities, TV, radio, direct dial phone though. The bathrooms are all in good condition. The restaurant is a large room serving breakfast and dinner. |
