I have stayed at the 'Regina' three times over the last couple of years, it is clean, stylish and the staff are very courtious. The rooms are very nice but most view internal shafts, but don't let this put you off!

GREAT LOCATION, ROOMS CAN BE SMALL AND HAVE LITTLE / NO VIEW BUT SOME ARE NICE. HOTEL ROOMS WERE MORE THAN ADEQUATE. BREAKFAST BUFFET BETTER THAN USUAL. LOCATION GREAT. LITERALLY STEPS FROM THE METRO AND 5-7 MIN WALK TO THE MAJOR MUSEUMS. GOOD VALUE.

I stayed at the Regina in February 2003 having discovered and booked it on the Internet. The Hotel is in an excellent central location ideal for touring Madrid either on foot or by the Metro. Rooms were clean and functional with the bathrooms particularly impressive when considered against the room price. Restaurant and Bar facilities where good. I would recommend the Regina as good value, clean and efficient in a superb location for city breaks.

Hotel Regina is a perfect location for exploring Madrid. It is situated within easy waking distance of the Grand Via, Prado and Thyssen museums and the shopping district. Our was large, airy and very comfortable, though we did see rooms that were small and pokey. What made this hotel outstanding was the staff. They went out of their way to be helpful, especially the reception staff.I would recommend Hotel Regina as being very good value for money.

The Hotel Regina was clean, comfortable and sylish.Excellent location next to sevilla metro line and easy strolling distance to some excellent restaurants (especially Finca de Christina). Breakfasts were adequate, the rooms are kept very clean and the maids are courteous

Hotel is a great location--actually, superb. Most of hotel is newly refurbished. One of our rooms was an older room. (We should have asked for a newer room, but did not...our fault) Ask for a new room. Hotel is very clean and the staff is helpful. Breakfast is very good. I would definitely stay here again. We watched the Kings Day parade (Jan. 6) from our balcony and it was like a Macy Thanksgiving parade. WOW.

We liked the Regina Hotel. Actually, we had stayed there before, so we knew what to expect. The room was way too tiny for three people. There were only two or three little shelves to store our clothing plus the closet space. However, the bathroom was beautiful and definitely renovated since our last stay there. Despite the inconvenience of the small room, it was centrally located, and we had the metro right there.

Great location, right at the Metro and central to everything. I really liked it here, but my room was so tiny I could not believe it. A single bed would fit, a double would not have. 6 feet wide. Then I walked into the bathroom, which was almost as big as the room and very beautifully done. The room was marginal, the bathroom was worth taking pictures. Staff were helpful, breakfast was great. I would go back.

Thanks for your efficient service in arranging my reservation at the Hotel Regina in Madrid 7-10 September. The standard of accommodation and services was very satisfactory for the price and it could not be more conveniently situated for easy access to the city centre. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful in booking tours etc. After a day of sightseeing (+ a bullfight) and two days of successful business, I return home with good memories of Madrid.

Regina has been my favorite Madrid hotel for years.
